Talxen has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, sextortion, and trafficking. These standards describe what is prohibited, how we detect and act on it, how you can report it, and how to reach our child-safety team. They apply to everyone who uses Talxen and are part of our Terms of Service.
1.Prohibited conduct
You may never use Talxen to:
- Create, request, possess, distribute, or promote child sexual abuse material (CSAM);
- Groom, coerce, extort (including sextortion), traffic, or sexually exploit a minor;
- Sexualise a minor, or solicit sexual content from a minor;
- Arrange, facilitate, or advertise the exploitation of a minor;
- Evade our safety systems, moderation actions, or law-enforcement reporting.
2.Minimum age
Talxen is not for children. You must be at least 13 years old, and at least the minimum age required by the law of your country (for example, 16 in parts of the EU/EEA). We remove accounts we believe belong to under-age users.
3.Prevention, detection & review
We combine technology and human review to keep children safe:
- Uploaded media is scanned before it can be shared, including a hash-matching hook against known-CSAM hash sets;
- Suspected matches are quarantined and preserved for review and reporting, and are not restored or re-published while under review;
- We act on user reports, account signals, and metadata review;
- Trained reviewers assess reports and matches and take action.
4.How to report in the app
Anyone can report child-safety concerns directly in Talxen:
- Report a user from their contact/profile screen;
- Report a message or media item from the message action menu;
- Choose the child safety reason category when reporting.

5.Reporting to authorities
Where required or permitted by law, we preserve and report suspected CSAE content and related account information to competent authorities and child-safety organisations, which may include the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC), INHOPE-member hotlines, and the relevant law-enforcement agencies in the applicable jurisdiction. We cooperate with lawful requests in child-exploitation investigations.
6.Enforcement actions
When we find CSAE, we may remove content, permanently ban accounts and devices, preserve evidence, restrict features, and refer the matter to authorities. Bans for CSAE are not subject to the ordinary appeals process.
7.Compliance with laws
These standards are designed to comply with applicable child-safety laws and with the requirements of the Google Play and Apple App Store child-safety programs. We review and update them as our systems, providers, and legal obligations evolve.
